ASSET to Demonstrate State-of-the-Art Security Screening Equipment to Address Latest Threats at INTERSEC 2024

ASSET is making a return to the global INTERSEC expo in Dubai. Attendees can expect to see them at the event in the UAE capital between January 16 and 18. The company's booth will showcase cutting-edge security equipment sourced from major global suppliers. Its purpose is to protect diverse establishments from a wide range of present-day threats.

ASSET's top selling device will be showcased during the event. This offering, the VexTrace explosives detector, can sense and determine the type of explosives present, whether they are in form of gas or residue. At INTERSEC 2023, this sensor was presented under its previous designation, M-ION. After the exhibition, another round of improvements was made and the device was renamed VexTrace. Its latest modification will make an appearance at the ASSET booth.

ASSET's offerings at the exhibition will include the AI-enabled Radar-IQ multifaceted area security system. This system's outstanding feature is its capacity to accurately identify potential dangers (including UAVs of any type) with a greatly reduced risk of spurious alarms. On top of that, it integrates smoothly into any existing security infrastructure. Following the INTERSEC 2023 event, modifications were made to this system, similar to the progression of VexTrace. A new smart device was added to it, providing for rapid activation of any drone suppression system. INTERSEC 2024 attendees will see the latest version of the Radar-IQ technology.

ASSET also offers the Videkt-SM-21, a selective system able to detect hazardous and forbidden objects composed of metal and other materials. This equipment's hardware/software classifying system detects complete items and individual parts of varying shapes made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as of carbon fiber-based composites, currently popular in the manufacturing of items like concealed firearms and melee weapons.

Models of large equipment, including the MIDK-9232 and M-SCAN mobile and stationary screening systems, will also be showcased at the company's booth. These distinctive systems are capable of thoroughly scanning large cargoes and vehicles, precisely flagging off banned items, illicit merchandise, forbidden objects and explosives.

Every year, the United Arab Emirates hosts INTERSEC, supported by organizations like the Dubai Police, General Directorate of Civil Defense, Police Academy and Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), plus the Dubai Municipality. The 2024 edition of this international forum will be its 25th. INTERSEC 2024 will host over 1,000 exhibitors. A range of topics will be covered, including national and commercial security, cybersecurity, workplace safety, combating fires and rescuing people. The Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC)'s 12 halls will serve as the exhibition's venue.

The booth S2-C25 in Hall 2 is earmarked for ASSET's exhibit. INTERSEC 2024 attendees are welcome to explore the cutting-edge security technology solutions designed to meet present-day security demands. We will be happy to provide answers to any inquiries!
